Victim transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Stroger Hospital; listed in critical condition. Chicago police officers responded about 10:45 PM Friday, April 4, 2025 to a report of four males standing in the street and stopping cars while pointing guns at 24th Street and South Sacramento Avenue in Chicago. When police officers arrived, unknown offenders shot at the police officers. No police officers were wounded, but there was property damage to a police vehicle. No offenders in custody. The shots fired call occurred in the 10th District and in the Little Village neighborhood on Chicago's southwest side. Homicide, Person Shot - 11500 Block of S. LaSalle St. Police officers from the Chicago Police Department’s 5th District responded about 3:17 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2024 to a report of a shooting in the block of 11500 South LaSalle Street Chicago, located at the border of the West Pullman neighborhood and the West Roseland neighborhood. Preliminary investigation reveals that a 34-year-old male victim and a 59-year-old male victim were approached by at least one unknown offender. The offender produced a firearm and fired multiple shots in the direction of the victims. The 34-year-old male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. Police officers from the Chicago Police Department’s 10th District on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at approximately 1:30 p.m.  responded to a report of a shooting in the block of 3900 West 21st Street Chicago. Preliminary reports indicate that a 19-year-old female victim was standing near the sidewalk when she was approached by multiple unknown male offenders. The offenders demanded her property, and one of the offenders produced a firearm, firing shots at the victim. The young woman sustained a gunshot wound to her torso. Following the shooting, the offenders fled westbound on foot, taking the victim’s property with them. The victim was promptly transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she was initially listed in critical condition. Initially, no offenders are in custody.  A 17-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound around 4:50 a.m. Sunday morning in the block of 5800 South Whipple Street, according to the Chicago Police Department. The teenager arrived at Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower back. Medical personnel initially listed him in stable condition. Additional details were not initially available. Chicago Police Department detectives from Area One, are investigating this crime in the 8th District and Gage Park neighborhood. Initially, no suspects or motives indicated.
