Two men shot, one dies on LaSalle Street near 115th Street Chicago
Homicide, Person Shot - 11500 Block of S. LaSalle St. Police officers from the Chicago Police Department’s 5th District responded about 3:17 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2024 to a report of a shooting in the block of 11500 South LaSalle Street Chicago, located at the border of the West Pullman neighborhood and the West Roseland neighborhood. Preliminary investigation reveals that a 34-year-old male victim and a 59-year-old male victim were approached by at least one unknown offender. The offender produced a firearm and fired multiple shots in the direction of the victims. The 34-year-old male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body and was transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The 59-year-old male also sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to Christ Hospital, where he was initially listed in serious condition.
